packed my weekend to the brim!
hahas
sat was chilling out with jiemeis!
we went to watch burlesque while gong-cha-ing!
it's quite nice!
love the songs!

then was having dinner at this place which i forgot the name
jus at 313 somerset
i feel the ambience was good
was feeling pretty relaxed
will def wan to go back agn
love the live band!
the songs they played and sang were all my favs!
:)
totally cheered me up!

sun went for cep
then met wei at city plaza to shop!!
only managed to get a top
whereas wei got a dress
abit rushed cox we went there abt close to 5pm
and the shops closed pretty early abt 6 plus
so din get to go to most of the shops
prob will go there another time to look ard once more

anw then met family for dinner at J8
managed to get this pair of gorgeous white snake prints shoes from charles & keith!
kinda rare for me who always tink charles & keith is overpriced
anw it was 40% off!
super worth it
usual price 40 plus! now only 25.10! :)
so it's so gonna be my cny shoes!

anyone who's been hanging out with me recently would noe that i'm totally in love with the animal prints stuff
shoes and bags esp!
to add to my collection of 1 pair of zebra printed heels and 1 pair of half leopard printed heels
and my snake printed work bag
it amazes me how much i still love tt bag
cox i usually get tired of bags qt easily
hahahs

anw i tink i am really a very picky shopper!
very hard to buy stuff
cox i'll be thinking whether the price is worth the stuff all the time
and my budget is like so low!
hahas
am a cheapo!
but then agn it really makes my day whenever i get sth at a steal and ppl tink that it looks really nice or really expensive

this week is the worst week ever!
mon: 2am
tues: 1.30am
wed: 12 midnight
thurs: 8.30pm
fri: 8.30pm
have been working non-stop
really no life at all
everyday work alr, cab home to slp for a few hrs and appear back at work agn at 930am
:(
am seriously drained
been wearing no make up and specs to work
my frens all said i look v shagged = chui
i must really step up my bao yang regime
must start applying facial masks!

my colleagues all look so tired
it makes me sad to see them like that
esp cheery jeanie and shah slogging their life out for rbs
totally killing them
they have lost their usual smiley nature
i even miss kelvin's super loud laughter
having seen him yest, he really looks chui, totally lost qt abit of weight

but i really feel so comforted cox whenever i work late
i will see these ppl on office communicator
and at least i have them to complain to
abt how sad our lives are
ahhh
hahs
we must pia for these 4 months!
then can relax more for the remaining 8 months alr

very sad that kian sing is leaving the firm
he tendered last week
i never thot anyone of our "legendary august batch" will leave
much less the one who is the most enthu when organising outings for our grp
feels weird that one of my office "jiemeis" are leaving
oh wells but at least i know he'll be happier
jiayous ba!

oh wells at least he will do sth he like

am feeling the shopping itch!
cant wait for sat to come
i wan go JB!

anw even though all my frens aka colleagues are working late
since it is peak period
but for me, it's still ok
cox i am mainly on the smaller jobs for now
i tink i prob will get busier in feb when i am on my bigger jobs
my frens are so poor thing
they look so shagged everyday when i meet them during lunch
yest shah n jeanie stayed till 2am!
oh goodness
i cant imagine working at client's place till so late then having to drag myself to work agn by 9am
:(
jiayous everyone!

hmm dun really feel the chinese new year mood yet
but am kinda excited!

the last weekend was literally spent in a forest
:(
at the temple at jalan kayu area
surrounded by trees n shrubs and lots of foreign workers staring at us from their hostels

we did the taoist rites for ah ma and all our ancestors
it was so tedious and tiring
it cost a mind-blowing 20k in total
with the house alone costing 8k by itself!
arghh
wat an agony for an auditor who counts every cent
in my eyes, i hate to say this
but i really wonder what is the meaning of doing all these weird stuff
lotsa wastage
food being thrown ard
paper being wasted
noise and air pollution due to the burning and chanting and hitting of drums n gongs
i felt like i was watching some opera
the 5 priests dancing ard and acting in a skit
and we being fooled ard by them
having to do all sorts of weird stuff

all we do are all to please the living, rather than the dead
it's so hard for me to accept all this
but i learnt that regardless of our individual religions
we still have to honour our elders and respect their wishes
despite our inner objections

so tired
all the incense getting to my head
making me have a headache
2 entire days of all these
i tink i have enuff of them for now
thank goodness that we'll prob only do this once

i feel so glad to be able to come back to civilisation

anw on a brighter note!
office pantry is filled with "audit peak boosters"!!

energy bars and cup noodles!
woohoo!
my frens were so funny!
they grabbed like boxes of energy bars and sneaked them into the drawers at our seats
so that whenever we come back to office, we'll have supply of food!
hahas some of them even grabbed them to client's place
cox the coming 4 months ahead will be filled with late and hungry nights
am already starting to fill the strain of it
been cabbing home every night last week
cox i ended work at 830 everyday
hopefully this wk will be better
